Holy Baptism

Holy Baptism is normally celebrated 4 times a year, in the late fall, mid-winter, and early and late spring. Inquiries about baptism should be made to our secretary Ruth who can assist you in beginning the planning for this wonderful event.

In the weeks prior to the Baptism Service, our baptism coordination team will lead you through a series of preparation evenings. Since baptism is such a significant life decision, parents, godparents, and adult candidates for baptism are required to attend these sessions. Baptism marks a person's formal initiation and welcome into the Christian Church. Because of this, parents presenting children to be baptized are normally expected to participate in the life of our parish family.
