Norman Reintamm Norman Reintamm began his musical career as a chorister at Christ's Church Cathedral in Hamilton. After his primary musical studies, he went on to undergraduate studies at the University of Toronto and McMaster University. Postgraduate studies were done at the the Royal College of Music in London, England, where he studied under Sir David Willcocks and Sir Norman del Mar. He studied organ with Sir Richard Popplewell. As a conductor, he won prestigious apprenticeships to both the Vancouver Chamber Choir and the Hamilton Philharmonic Orchestra. Before coming to St. Timothy's, Norman worked in Europe for a number of years, working at the Estonian National Opera as Senior Resident Conductor and the Estonian Academy of Music as Head of the Opera Department. He also taught at the world-renowned Sibelius Academy in Helsinki in its Opera Department. He has played in recital in both Europe and throughout North America and has numerous choral compositions credits to his name.
