Rev. Dr. John Stephenson

Rev. Dr. John Stephenson came to St. Timothy's in February 2007. Prior to that he was the Incumbent of St. James' Church in the lovely rolling hills of Caledon just north of Brampton, Ontario. St. James' was John's first incumbency as he came to the priesthood later in life. He holds the Doctor of Theology degree from Wycliffe College in the University of Toronto; for 20 years he was involved in higher education teaching theology, history, and Biblical Hebrew in colleges and seminaries in Canada. John has preached and lectured throughout Eastern Canada and in Russia, Ukraine, and Cuba, and has been published in a variety of periodicals. He is married to Carolyn, a public health nurse, and has three adult children: twin sons, and a daughter.
