Activities

The youth group at St. Timothy's meets every Sunday during our main morning service. We get together for a chance to talk about what is happening in our daily lives and then relate that back to our faith. Our group sees its priorities as helping the youth and young adults of St. Timothy's find their place in the world and the Church. We focus our activities and discussions on how our faith can be meaningful and empowering to us. We do this firstly as a group or community and secondly as individuals, attempting to build fellowship and personal relationships at the same time. Our priority is to have fun and experiment with our faith, attempting to open our eyes to see God everywhere and in everything that we do.

We meet often outside of Sunday morning too, for games, sports, trips and recreation. There is a concerted effort to see new ways of experiencing our faith and growing in relationship with other Anglicans and Christians. It is important for us as a group to been seen and recognised as people living out our faith. So we help in projects around St. Timothy's, as well as participating in activities that make a difference in our community and the world at large.
